Our story
1995
Vies was established in response to the needs of major Western European companies after moving their production to the countries of Eastern Europe. The operations and approaches to such large projects were so complex and comprehensive that larger and more rigid companies could not carry them out effectively. We established a company that is now expanding and growing together with its clients and is offering a responsive and personalized service for all logistic operations.
2000
We wanted to provide our services regardless of circumstances, therefore we took over a shipping company, that still enables us to deliver your goods smoothly. At that time, we already had an optimized logistic system in place and our own standby fleet, therefore being able to carry out deliveries only a handful of companies were capable of.
2009
We established a branch in Kranj to expand to the markets of Northern Europe and the United Kingdom.
2011
We supported our activities in Luka Koper with a new Koper branch, where we take care of shipments we receive by sea or air.
2014
We established a company Vies Logistika d.o.o. with an office in Umag, Croatia, in order to increase our presence on the Croatian market and to reduce costs and delivery times to Croatia and the Balkans.
2020
This is the year that marks the 25th year of our operations.
We are growing strongly, focusing more than ever on customer service as well as excquisite service levels. Backed with new development plans and a new warehouse facility in SI-5290 Šempeter that spans over 8.000m2 of warehouse as well as 20.000m2 of plot with direct acess to the railway that will enable us to further develop our services.
